We offer hunters the opportunity to experience the vast and challenging terrain of the Karoo, a mere 3 hours drive from Cape Town.
We specialize in short hunts that are an ideal break from a possible vacation or business trip in the greater Cape Town area. Daily rates below include; collection and drop-off in Cape Town, all accommodation and travel on the hunting area, rifle hire, meals and drinks as well as the service of a professional hunting guide and trackers.
Trophies will be skinned and salted and arrangements can be made to have them shipped to you or delivered at the nearest taxidermist. Taxidermy, dipping and packing of trophies is not included in any of the described rates.
Hunting is conducted on a 6500 Hectare ( 16,0000 acre) un-fenced property. The terrain consists of mountains, canyons, dry thickly vegetated river beds and vast open plains.

There are NO hidden costs in these fees and everything is included other than taxidermy and dipping/packing as well as shipping of trophies.
The terrain is rough and rocky and sturdy foot wear is recommended. Hunting is reasonably challenging due to the open landscape, but all efforts will be made to ensure the hunter a shot opportunity at his desired trophy.
Please note that the camp is very rustic, cabin style accommodation with the bare essentials. This is a real wilderness hunt with the pure basics. The camp runs on a generator power, sleeps 6 people in 2 separate cabins and has a communal kitchen and dinning cabin as well as a seperate shower and toilet with hot and cold water. The hunting area has no cellphone reception.
Karee Safaris is undoubtedly the best area in South Africa for a trophy Vaal Rhebok or Klipspringer. Both these are very sought after trophies that can provide a challenging hunt.
